Who operates the site

The Impact of AI is currently operated by Mario Demetriou. Business details will be updated when the sole-trader account is in place.

Information you provide

If you join the briefing, we store your email address, the time of consent, any topics you choose, the referral code connected with the signup and limited campaign attribution such as the signup page, campaign label and broad acquisition source. If you send a commercial enquiry, we store the contact details and message you submit so the enquiry can be answered.

How information is used

Subscriber details are used to operate the requested briefing, send a welcome message, measure which launch channels produce genuine subscribers and honour unsubscribe requests. When email delivery is active, Resend processes the email address and message solely to deliver and diagnose the briefing. Enquiry details are used to respond and manage a potential commercial relationship. We do not sell personal information.

Advertising and analytics

No third-party advertising or behavioural analytics service is active. The portal records a limited set of first-party events—such as a page view, opening or reaching the end of an article, opening the Impact Tracker, starting or sharing an Impact Radar, opening a campaign page and completing a briefing signup—without creating a behavioural profile or storing an advertising identifier. The record includes the page path and chosen article language. Referrers are reduced to broad categories such as direct, search, social, internal or external. These counts cannot identify a unique person or browser. The hosting platform may also process essential technical logs needed to deliver, secure and diagnose the site.

If you choose another reading language, the site remembers that preference in your browser so travel does not change it. Country inferred from the network connection is used only to suggest an edition; the site does not store your IP address in its editorial event records. Automatic translations are generated from the public UK English article by a service provider and cached for readers. They may contain errors, so the English original and source links remain available.

Impact Radar choices

The My AI Impact Radar stores the four broad categories you choose in your browser so the result can be restored later. Those choices are not sent with the limited first-party event record. If you deliberately create a share link, the broad role, sector, region and priority appear in that link so another person can open the same result. You can remove the locally stored choices with “Start again” or through your browser settings.

Reader comments

If you submit a reader note, we store the display name, comment, optional evidence link, related article and submission time. Notes are reviewed before publication; rejected notes may be retained to support moderation and abuse prevention. Do not submit personal or confidential information.

Where a wider Disqus discussion is offered, it is not loaded until you choose to open it. When loaded, Disqus may process technical information, cookies and any account or comment information you provide under its own privacy policy. You can read and submit a first-party reader note without loading Disqus.
